Welcome to my online digital portfolio! My name is Taneshia Rachal and I am in the process of pursuing my Ed.D in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have worked in the field of education for sixteen years. Having taught English in two different high schools and a maximum security jail for boys, I am currently an Assistant Principal at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, VA. I have held this position for six years . Can you believe that I commute an hour to work everyday?? There is never a dull moment as a high school administrator, but I must say that I truly enjoy what I do and the students with whom I work each day. Between this experience and my memories of teaching English at the jail, I have a lot of stories to share! But we have plenty of time for that…
